I Can't Keep Up-November Remembered

My goodness things change every single day! I try to remember all the things Caroline says that are so cute...too much to count! She says the Pledge of Allegiance with pride (learned at school-surprised me!). She has been reciting the order of future special occasions: Mommy's birthday, Thanksgiving, my birthday, Christmas and then DISNEY WORLD! She is also very much intrested in the agenda for the day. "Mommy, after my nap then what? We go to office and watch movie? Where we go?" When we go to stores for quick returns, she begs to 'go around the store'. Guess the apple didn't fall far from the tree;)

Olivia is 'talking' to me while she eats. She has finally learned to eat more peacefully but it can always take a turn. It's getting less messy, at least! She is sleeping in her crib for most naps and at night. One 3 AM feeding still remains but at least she always goes back to sleep easily now. Sitting up well by the end of the month. Caroline likes to watch her chew on her toys and do the same so my free time is spent washing toys.

Playdoh is a favorite.

Floor time with toys.

Indian dance for Cheez-its.

Sweetie pies!

Basketball has started

Squealing beauty

"So, Oweaweeah, let's talk. You so tute." is a favorite expression.

Big girl sitting up and growing fast.

Thanksgiving program at school. "God our Father, God our Father; Once again, once again; Thank you for our blessings, Thank you for our blessings; Amen, Amen."

Loves to 'tidy up' and play in the tub. Sometimes with Daddy!

November 17, the paci fairies otherwise known as the fairies in Sleeping Beauty came to pick up all pacifiers. It was bittersweet. After about 2 weeks things went back to normal.

Thanksgiving we had lunch in Mobile with Jonathan's family and then went to Birmingham for dinner! I didn't take many picture since my hands were a little full.

We also went to Guntersville for my extended family gathering. Caroline and cousin Rachel remind me of me and Rachel's mom when we were little.

Took some pics of the cousins in Birmingham. Can you tell which picture is the 'silly' one??

October is Over?!...a month re-visited

Lots has happened this month! I wish I had more time to post more frequently but it seems it isn't going to happen so I'll do what I can.

Caroline and Olivia like going to the mailbox.

Dressed up after church. Love my girls!

We started solids (besides cereal) on the 4th. Carrots were a hit.

We started sitting up...started out shaky but good by the end of the month. Also have 2 bottom teeth now!

Daddy's mini-me....look at the identical eyes and cheeks!

Caroline says Olivia is her best friend.

Olivia rolled over on the 13th. I got this picture right after. She is so proud.

Boundaries! Olivia needs her space.

We went to the pumpkin patch with Jack. They ended up being dressed very similar so everyone thought they were twins. They have so much fun together.

Olivia's first sitting experience on grass. Not too bad, she seems to say. Since Caroline has always called her 'Pumpkin Patch', I had to get her picture in the pumpkins.

Happy Fall!

Caroline wanted a "cumucker" for breakfast.

Rolling never gets old.

Me and the girls went to Birmingham and Florence for a week. It was a great trip....I was just glad to survive all the packing/unpacking of the car 3 times. We were busy every single minute and loved it.

We got to go to Claire's soccer game in Birmingham. Tina and Olivia got some bonding time.

Parker always takes care of his cousin. Here he is leading her to the playground.

We got to go to "Boo at the Zoo" where everyone was in costume trick-or-treating. The carousel was on a black light, going backwards, playing 'Monster Mash'. SOO fun. Caroline didn't love the train ride because she says it was "too scary" but I think she would do it again.

In Florence, Caroline got to see some real Fall...leaves and all!

We went to 4 parks in Florence...all of them wonderful. It was warm but still nice. I got this pic of Dad and Caroline relaxing by the pond, watching the swans and ducks. Very peaceful.

Olivia and Mom watched too:)

Does this child look happily spoiled?! Yes.

Always reading her books. Every few days her reading changes. This week, every page begins with, "in a far away land _____".

We stopped on the way back to see Nancy and Sam one last time before baby Pete arrives. Yea!

Caroline loves to comb hair. Aunt Tina didn't mind. Goody wasn't so sure.

Halloween! Tinkerbell and Butterfly were a sight.

We had fun jumping at a festival in the afternoon. Almost never got her out!

Trick or treat!
