And We're Walking!!!

Yesterday she took 6 steps alone but today is official-she is walking on her own to get from point A to point B without being prompted. We went out tonight and her babysitter said she was amazed how much had changed in a month. So true!

Funny Faces

We had fun making faces this morning!

Drawer Space

Thankfully things have been pretty calm since we got back. Caroline is really coming into her humor. Sometimes she will laugh about something for 3 minutes straight! She loves standing behind me and looking around me so that I will say, "Boo!" In the past week, she has started nodding yes, drinking with a straw, saying something like "mine" and really enjoying giving kisses while saying, "Mmmm." She is taking 3 steps at a time now.

Did I mention we've started climbing....into drawers??

She loves blueberries, raspberries, peaches, and just about every kind fruit.
She has some tummy issues so her doc allows us to give her 4 oz of juice everyday. This came in handy yesterday when she got her flu shot and didn't even make a peep because she was busy drinking the juice!

Home Sweet Home

We survived our roadtrip-the first time we've gone that far in one day with Caroline. We drove 12 hours straight on Christmas Eve, arriving in time for Christmas dinner with my family. We had a great time in Birmingham....got to double date with Tina and Brian and took Parker and Claire to Zoolight Safari.

Santa brought a stroller for Caroline to stroll!

The Zoo:

This is a funny favorite....she slapped Parker's face right before I took this one.

Do you think she left her mischief face at home?? No way!

We headed for Mobile and saw the twins for the first time! They were so so cute-we hated leaving them. We had a great time in Mobile. Jonathan and I had a New Year's Eve all day long date, we looked at future houses and neighborhoods, we had one last birthday party for Caroline and we went to see the lights at Bellingrath Gardens. Fun times!

Uncle Jason got alot of high fives.

Joshua was a good daytime sleeper. We told him to keep it up at night too.

Granddaddy, Granny Cole, Vangie, Jennifer and the twins joined us for a final 1st birthday celebration.

The lights at Bellingrath Gardens were awesome.

As a side note, we saw this in the Mobile mall. It's one of those machines that your child can ride. Is it not freaky????? A strange looking man sitting in a car waiting for your child to come and sit by him. Too odd to ignore.
