Summer Starts

We've had a hot Summer so far. Not too many outdoor activities yet. Hopefully we'll get back outside soon. We did manage to squeeze in some swim lessons and swim playdates. Caroline is doing alot of make-believe play-putting gas in her car, pretending to juggle, making up words to songs, playing beauty shop, etc. Olivia is standing and cruising but not quite walking. She is saying noises like 'wa' for water, 'ba' for baby and 'ju' for juice. Still loves to point and tell us where to go. And she always wants to be outside!

We love our trips to Target!

Reading and making silly faces:

HAPPY girl!

I would never consider missing a royal wedding. Never have-never will:) Caroline watched the ending with me.

For Mother's Day, we went to Stix for some Japanesse hibachi. Everytime a table lit up with fire, Olivia screamed:( Not the best night for her.

Playing around the house:

Caroline's last day of school and had to say good-bye to Ms. Evelyn and Ms. Diane:(

Practicing for the Fall:

Her baby was cold, she said.

Dropping food.....a constant in our house.

Swim lessons! She jumped off the sides into Miss Alex's arms.

Outdoor walks are fun but HOT.

Did she find what she was looking for?

Ice Cream!

Reading to her friends in her closet:

Daddy getting ready for a call night. He always comes home and changes into scrubs and we get to say good-bye.

Music time!

Jumping! This has caused us to jump all the time inside too.

We went to Grammy's for a cook-out during Memorial Day Weekend. Fun times with family!

My girl still hugs me a lot.....and I love every single hug!

Daddy hanging out with the sugar bears on Memorial Day:

Olivia LOVES baby dolls!

Sweet girls:)

Filling out the growth chart. Caroline is 41 inches now!

Caroline's first dance recital was so fun. She truly loved it. She kept saying, "I wish we could do it again!" Even now, a month after, if she hears a song on the radio that was featured in the recital she talks about it. Her song was called, "Look at Me." She did great-did every motion and sang every word. Such a joy to see her having fun on the 'stay-ja'.

Teaching little sister:

Crazy dancing feet!

We had a great time at the circus too. Caroline was pretending to be on the tightrope by the end of the night.

We ended VBS at church with the kid's music program. Once again, she loved it and really got into it! I was the doting mother with a camera;)

Books, books, books!

Playing together-sisters have a lot of fun!

Granddaddy came over to play on Father's Day weekend.

Caroline giving her Father's Day card to Daddy.

More crazy feet!

What would we do if we actually used our dining room for dining instead of playing??!
