Tutu fun

Here are some pics of Caroline playing in her tutu this summer. I couldn't narrow them down.

Furry Friend Day

I should have known it would be a fun day when Caroline insisted right off the bat that I put her socks from last night onto her little stuffed lamb.

Sure enough, she took her furry friends everywhere with her today. She's never done it to this extent before! So funny.

She put teddy bear in her chair.

She let him answer the phone-puppy too.

She took him in the car with us.


She's imitating our movements and trying to say more words now. This week she has started saying night-night, nana, banana, car, and more. She LOVES the 5 step staircase to the media room. We sit there often. Up and down, up and down, sit, up and down, etc.

And she loves exploring the kitchen cabinets as well.

I have to show our favorite gift received from other doctor groups-and it happened to be from Jason's group. It was a cookie bouquet-- and it was delicious:) Isn't it cute?

We have attempted to go walking twice this week and both were short due to some serious heat and humidity. The backs of my hands were sweating! I wonder when/if we'll get back to our long VA walks??? Guess I need to move "Find a gym" up to a higher priority on my list! At least we found a great playground close to home.

House and Holiday

We had a great 4th of July. We had yummy food at Grammy's house.

Caroline seems to love her cute cousins.

Must show off my first baked item from the new kitchen. Jonathan said I needed to recount the blueberries.

Caroline is learning her way around the house. Yes, she owns the place right now.

She's saying alot of words now-up, down, go, stop, door, backpack, and more. I never thought I liked the Barney song but I love it now that it gives me a guaranteed hug and kiss.

A typical morning includes:

-Climbing on the bar stools

-Playing a game with Mommy

-Dancing

-Rearranging the shoes in Mommy's closet

-Going up and down the stairs

-Playing in her closet

I'm tired by lunchtime! This fall we are going to do some toddler gymnastics and kindermusik. I think she has the energy to do as much as I can find!
