Caroline is Three...our First Christmas as Four

Christmas is a magical, hectic time in our house. The first week of December is hands down the busiest with birthday planning and Christmas decorating/festivities in full swing. This year Caroline's birthday was on a Saturday so we celebrated on Friday too:) We started by having our party at school with the highly requested pink and purple cupcakes and princess theme. Then we moved on to the family party with a full out Cinderella theme. To the max. Then Saturday was our first birthday party with peer with a Lollipop theme. Let's just say there was enough sugar eaten to satisfy one for a year.

Getting ready to go to school as the Birthday Girl.

School party was fun!

Opening presents from Mommy and Daddy. The Aurora card played her favorite, Once Upon a Dream song.

Princess Party-the transformation to princess, complete with glass slippers.

First picture on actual birthday. Holding Sleeping Beauty figures:)

The lollipop party at Watermelon Patch was so fun. We played parachute games and sang songs. Good times!

Olivia was reallly eying the lollipop when we got home:)

Our Christmas season was full of Santa visits. Thankfully we always asked for the same thing: a bear and a doll.
Santa breakfast at school:
Bass Pro Shop Santa:
INFORMAL introduction to our elf. Next year it will really begin;)

Our lefty loves to draw these days.

We made gingerbread men several times.

We had Christmas programs at school and church. Learned many songs! I think she is telling someone what to do in the school program pic below.

Olivia enjoyed the season. She is sitting up, babbling, kicking with delight, shaking her head "no", and grabbing everything in order to destruct. She is a very sweet and affectionate baby. Love those hugs.

Caroline loves to play outside which involves many trips in and out the door.

Olivia LOVED this snowman. She squealed everytime she saw it.

New sleep position-to the side. Starting the blanky too.

Silly girls!

We actually had a date/hospital party to attend....worth noting since so rare!

Christmas with Jonathan's family was on the 23rd. Olivia made it most of the way before her sleep meltdown.

The girls and I went walking around the neighborhood on Christmas Eve before Daddy got home from work. They were dumplins.

We opening our family gifts that night.

And then...Santa came! Caroline kept saying, "I don't know why Santa got me this pwayhouse. I love my pwayhouse."

My best Christmas ever....my 2 angels. I am so blessed.
